The basics everything else is built on:

• Default nightly rate — what a night costs when no seasonal price applies
• Deposit — how much a guest pays upfront; leave at 0 if you don't want deposits
• Minimum nights — the shortest stay you'll accept
• Weekly discount — automatic % off for stays of 7+ nights

Charge more (or less) for specific date ranges — school holidays, a bank holiday weekend, Christmas — without changing your default rate.

Anything set here overrides the default rate for those exact dates only. Everything else falls back to your default nightly rate.

Use this whenever someone books with you directly — a call, a message, a returning guest you already know. It goes straight onto your calendar as confirmed, no deposit taken through the site.

Only the dates and guest name are required. Add an email if you want them to get an automatic confirmation.

Block out dates for anything that isn't a guest booking — a maintenance visit, a family stay, a gap you want between guests. These dates disappear from your live availability automatically.

Every confirmed booking — whether a guest paid online or you added it manually — shows up here with dates, guest name and total price.

If a guest needs to cancel, use the Cancel button next to their booking — this also frees those dates back up on your live site.

This gives you a private link you can add to Google Calendar or Outlook, so your bookings show up alongside the rest of your life without checking the admin page every day.
